DAY 0. HOUR 21. MINUTE 3.Some things are better left forgotten.
It's been twenty-three days since I arrived on this desolate hell. Twenty-three days in which me and my team assumed nothing. Sat, watched, and researched, as if nothing was happening. As if the changes in the wind were invisible. Base camp survived. Barely. Storm knocked out our communicators. Life Support is barely online. And the other bases... I don't know. None of us know. What the storm didn't take, the resulting breaches did. Half of our camp is offline. And the damn sun won't set. 71 Hours per day, after a while... It weighs on you. Eats you away, like the damned heat. Base command said this planet was temperate. What we ended up with was a desolate rock with a thick atmosphere; and two thin, habitable bands between two large poles, locked in tidal orbit. We aren't the first- I know that much- but the part we were exploring was near to the equator, baked by solar radiation. Even in our suits, we cook alive in less then three hours. Our only goal is to survive. Food, Water. Communications. Maybe, if we're lucky, we'll re-establish contact. And those things ... Never show me them again. (picdump incoming) (don't mind this post, just a shit rp idea I need to take down on a forum somewhere)
