@kebab is this what Arden Kando looks like? Also reposting backstory for reference: I don't remember my parents, only Papa Zane, who raised me as his son my whole life. He was never shy about mentioning the fact that I wasn't his 'biological son'. One night I asked him why I looked so different from everyone on Mandalore. He had taken a second to answer, but finally said; "Just because you weren't born on the planet doesn't make you any less of a son of mine or any less a mando." I guess he suspected I had put two and two together in my head. He trained me from six years of age to be a true mando; much to the reprimand of the rest of the Aliit, who all boasted that their sons and daughters would be raised from the traditional eight years of age. I wasn't often very much better than my fellow mandos, except with a rifle. I was uncanny, even during my early days, with a rifle. I could hit a pebble at hundreds of meters - shots generally impossible with slug throwers. I remember when I was 18, my mando training was considered "complete", and I immediately joined to fight against the Jedi. That was my most famous and infamous time - I scored the longest range kill with any mass driving weapon - a kill at a range of a kilometer with a weapon graded for an effective 500 meters. He was a Jedi General too. It was curious, too. I distinctly remember the Jedi kept looking around every time I was even just looking at them - like they knew I was there on a much deeper level than just sensing danger. Like they were genuinely confused by my existence. Of course, they seemed to use this to their advantage too. I remember one night when a retreat was called, the Jedi had gotten too thick for us so we'd pull out and wait for air support to thin them out. I couldn't get back though; several Jedi surrounded myself and Zane. Zane and I killed a few of them, before one of them used a dark power of the force - lightning - to mortally wound Zane. While the Jedi scrambled to find where the sith attack came from, I sat beside Zane as he died. With a dying breath he ordered me to leave while the Jedi were distracted. My slug thrower lay broken on the ground, but he gave me his adventurer rifle. With a final flicker of life from his eyes, I leapt into the bushes. I met back up with my Aliit, only for the Jedi to have tracked me back to the camp. We were outnumbered, but we held our own until air support arrived and levelled the forest. I was interrogated by people I considered my family - it was a strange experience. "Did you properly cover your tracks?" "How could they have tracked you then?" "How did you escape the Jedi attack?" I told them the truth, but after hours of interrogation, they assumed I was lying and had kept my life in exchange for giving up my family. This is a crime that is punishable by death, but one member, I don't know who, said that I should be exiled instead. I was shuttled to the exile moon of Concordia, dropped with nothing but my rifle and my clothes. That's where I found the ship. Lying ruined in the desert sands, having been shot down so long ago, I realized it was an Old Republic ship - probably from a previous campaign into Mando space. It barely held air, but with some help from the Exiled Clan of Concordia, I managed to make it work. In a short video message I promised the Exiled Clan their money and I promised to my Aliit that I would prove my innocence and avenge Zane's death. But first, I needed credits and I needed information. (cue other shit)

ASSIGNMENT I - DORAJAN DESC: Dorajan is a planet in the mid rim, in Lannik Space. It is a forest planet, almost entirely uninhabited, save for several Imperial listening posts scattered across the planet, guarded by small detachments of Stormgarrison. It borders the entrance to Hutt Space, and the Empire has a significant stake in ensuring the planet is protected against external threats and remains unthreatened. Two Star Destroyers are present on it's surface; the Imperator-Class Irrepressible and it's escort, the Praetor-class Frigate, Celestius. There is rumors of a rebel base on the planet; and the Rebellion would, indeed, have an interest in disabling one of the Empire's key signal stations in one of it's largely ungoverned areas. However, as of late, this is unconfirmed. The system is rarely patrolled, and the only exports of note on Dorajan is information and, occasionally, agricultural goods for the Imperial army (It is host to a small Agri-colony). STATIONS: 9 TROOP COMPLIMENT: ~1,200 (1 Cohort), mostly Stormgarrison, with some commanders. The remainder of the Legion is spread across the rest of the subsections, as per the Tarquin Doctrine. MISSION DETAILS: [TO BE POSTED] IrrepressibleOne of the Empire's newest models after the Battle of Yavin, the Irrepressible contains upgraded systems, focusing it for long-range operations with a minimal sensor profile. It's defenses exceed the previous Imperial-Class Star Destroyers still in usage, and it has engines that enable it much greater turning speed then normal, and an extended hangar bay that runs the length of the ship. CelestiusA much smaller vessel, the Celestius focuses primarily on two things: Ground Attack and Electronic Warfare. Containing two sensor pods as well as twin tri-bolt Ion Cannons as primary armament, the Celestius is able to deliver a punishing compliment of Stormtroopers while also being able to defend and hide larger capital ships. Stormgarrison: Often recruited from local or nearby populations, and with simple to use, mass-producible armor and weapons, Stormgarrison serve as the bulk of Imperial planetary defense forces, holding the line until combat-focused Stormtrooper units can arrive to finish the conflict. Stormgarrison armor itself lacks any internal components, other then a simple rangefinder with rank-IFF tag in a HUD, and they wield the DC-15S blaster rifle, left over from the clone wars. Stormgarrison units receive only basic training, and their armor is much weaker then Stormtrooper armor. They also lack grenades. Commanders of Stormgarrison units are often local officers or NCOs, not wearing armor.

Also, another character: Yorric 'Grassfire' (I think that's the name?), a renegade Jedi who turned from the Jedi Code after his master's death.
Yorric was born to Lorridan parents in the slums of Coruscant. At age 6 his family was murdered by a mugger in an alleyway. He was now an orphan of the streets and for three years he began to beg to the rich who lifted their heads in disgust, when that didn't work he stole from them instead. One day he saw a man who looked like he would carry something valuable for him to pinch; he sized up his target, humble robes on the outside but he could tell by his body language that he wasn't a man of poor or even average living. Torrid sprung into action and grabbed something from his right side; it was easy to steal from someone like this when he was left hand dominant. He had thought it was another successful snag when all of a sudden the object refused to move from its position in the universe. Yorric looked down to find in his horror that he had stolen a lightsaber, and now the man wanted it back. He was picked up and pulled to him by his force abilities. Yorric struggled with the invisible bonds as the Jedi looked at him, he felt the wain on the bonds until he broke free. He didn't turn around to looked at the mans astonished face, he just ran. He didn't make it very far as he was grabbed by the man, Yorric struggled and strained but was ultimately subdued by the Jedi by causing him to fall asleep using the force. He was brought to the Jedi counsel where he was evaluated by Yoda himself. He asked Yorric if he was afraid, he said no, that there was no need to be, everyone in the room was friendly judging from their body language even though they acted cold and calculating. He was ultimately allowed to be a padawan to who turned out to be a Jedi named Jeht Lavaru, a student under Mace Windu who was trained in Vaapad. Over the next nine years Yorric honed his skills in both Vaapad and the force. Before Yorric was able to create his Lightsaber in the great crystal caves, Yorric and his master were sent to clear out a separatist depot on a distant planet. The mission went smoothly until Jett was surprise attacked by two destroyer droids, and was killed, consumed by anger, Yorric destroyed the robots by incinerating them with the force, an ability performed by the Sith. He brought Jett's body back to the citadel where he was cremated. Yorric collected the ashes of his master, who had been a father to him, and compressed them through the force into a crystal. This would become the grey beam from his ultrachrome lightsaber. Over the next few years Yorric's demeanor would change to dread the rules that bound him, and a yearning for freedom across the stars. So he accepted a mission, a dangerous mission that he would use to fake his own death. After this he was free, he traveled back to Coruscant and made a life for himself as a successful bounty hunter, business man, high roller, and gambler, who used his "talents" to increase his odds in succeeding. It had been two years since he faked his death, he was well known, respected, and loved by women everywhere.
